A handcrafted one piece swamp ash body, figured maple neck, high grade Indian Rosewood fretboard and a reverse headstock set the background for this amazing instrument. On the magenta aluminium scratchplate you have a pair of Curtis Novak pick-ups - a traditional JM-V at the neck and a growly JM-90 at the bridge. Sitting between the precision engineering of a Mastery saddle and vibrato bridge is a Mojo Jaguar pick-up. A 3-way toggle governs the pick-up selection, and a pair of slider-switches activate the cavity mounted piezo disc and allowing you to select either the JM-90 or the Mojo Jaguar as the bridge pick-up. Above is a further slider switch activating the LesLee rotary circuit, and 2 roller wheels to determine the sweep and the rate for the LesLee effect. A Master Tone and Master Volume complete the control philosophy for this Firestar.
 
The sonic possibilities are immense - it behaves like a beautiful Jazzmaster when you need it to, but as you experiment with the 3 main functions, either on their own or in conjunction with each other, the guitar's capability quickly makes itself known - the control layout ideal for quick configuration changes, 
 
The piezo disc adds some airiness and sparkle to the tones, the Mojo pick-up provides an interesting shimmer which will have you really learning where the nodes are along the scale, and the incredible LesLee will let you find really incredible sounds, and adjust them on the fly. This Firestar is in mint condition, genuinely as new; complete with its original case, Certificate of Authenticity, and has been in a collector's treasure chest since new.
